Ultimately your taste buds will again taste foods with new zest. Your lungs and heart will heal. Your clothes will smell better and you will potentially live a longer, healthier life. Come to GRM on Monday evenings at 5pm, grab a tray of food and join us for Breaking Free.

Mission Possible airs on the GRM Facebook page as a live talk show . Every month, on the 3rd Wednesday at noon we will discuss Mission happenings, discuss with experts issues that create poverty, hear testimonies of what God is doing around the mission and more. You are welcome to join us live in Gator Hall (The dining room of GRM) and enjoy lunch and a show. When you see the explosive logo for a show, join us as we expect there to be controversy and difficult conversations ahead.
50 miles with 50 pounds in 20 hours
The Long Walk: When the tribes arrived at Mrs. Webber's Plantation in Stilwell, a dispersal camp set up for Five Civilized Tribes traveling on the Trail of Tears. This plantation was a place where they could get supplies and "refuel" before starting their new lives in the midwest, similar to how our guests come to GRM for "refueling" both spiritually and physically.
Additionally, President Kennedy and President Teddy Roosevelt also challenged Americans to walk 50 miles in 20 hours.
We are combining these two pieces of history in The Long Walk where I will do the 50 mile walk from the original supply depot to the new life supply depot of GRM carrying a 50 pound ruck sack. Executive Director, Rich Schaus intends to start at 1 pm in Stillwell and get to GRM no later than 9am on February 29.
